Requirements

1. This offer is for larger schools with approximately 500 students or more.

2. School must be within 125 miles of Lawton, OK.

3. School must purchase at least one bag of 1000 strings at $250. After each student is given a free string, the school can sell the extra ones to students for fifty cents each; thus recouping some or all of this expense.

4. School must promote and allow Dave to sell his String Figure Books and DVD on the day of performance. A flyer sent home with students in advance works well for this. Books are autographed and affordable at $5 each. His String Figure DVD is $15. Product sales are what allow Dave to make this generous offer.

If you meet the above qualifications, Dave Titus will waive his $400 per day booking fee and any additional travel expenses. He will come to your school and provide a full day of String Figure Fun. In return, perhaps you could provide him lunch!

Dave meets with students in small groups, up to six or seven groups per day. He teaches each group different String Figures. He finds that this empowers the students to teach each other and within a couple of days, everyone in the school knows a number of figures.

Dave shares the origin of each String Figure, noting that many are Native American. As he talks about string figures from around the world, he gives anecdotal information from his travels collecting and studying the figures and the stories that go along with them. Dave has visited countries on six continents including: Nepal, Mongolia, Papua New Guinea, Bolivia, Venezuela, Pakistan, Poland, Lithuania, Estonia, Finland, Ghana, South Africa, Germany, and India; just to name a few.

Dave Titus has authored three books: "Native American String Figures"," African String Figures", and "Native Alaskan String Figures." He has produced four videos: three for Christian ministry and one titled "String Magic From Around The World."
